Winshape is a fun loving, family trusted camp.

Last year I went to a community camp called C3. Its the day camp branch of the overnight camp. I liked the staff and they were all really friendly. They had really good snacks. I got to do Jump Start every morning. Jump Start is like a energy program to get you going in the morning. I also got to do triangulation which is when all of the groups, including the following: Ocean, Safari, and Alpine, come together and do a “world series”. My skills were gymnastics, secret ops, and drama.

This year my skills are: PIT (Princess in Training), Preforming Arts, Splish Splash and Archery. This year it will be different because I am staying OVERNIGHT for a WEEK! This is the first time I have done this in my entire life! Other than sleeping at my grandparents house. I feel REALLY excited!

My parents trust Winshape Camps ALOT.

First Day of School

Today, I went to my first day of school in 3rd grade. I got Mrs. Cotter’s and Mrs. Barnes’ class. I have two teachers because they both were bored of being in the same classroom for about 8 hours. That is alot, right? I brought them both flowers today! And I had macaroni and cheese for lunch… Third grade is awesome.

Well, your Mimi sounds like a fantastic person!!! Just kidding, 'cause this is Mimi writing you back :) We are so lucky to have each other to have fun with! It's really special to know that if I ever want to go shopping or do 'girlie' things, Paige is right there willing to go along! You and Chloe are the best 'grand girls' anyone could have and Pops and I love that we're only an hour away - keep blogging and I'll keep reading! -Mimi (not really a doctor :)

Mimi is my grandma. She is fun and we like sewing together. She is fun to be with because she likes to sew. I love her ALOT! She is my mom’s mom. She lives in Gainesville, GA. It is an hour away. In a way it’s good and in a way that’s bad. Its good because she doesn’t live in Macon or something (that’s far away!). Its bad because an hour is a long time.

Mimi is a doctor and she survived cancer. So if you want to join the red ribbon sponsors club just go to my blog and if you look you can see a green 3 words with a line under it and it says “ask me anything”. You can trick it by putting a comment or a statement instead of a question. So if you want to help us help try to beat cancer so people like Mimi can have a chance in life then just contact me and we can start getting donates to The American Cancer Society.

I am doing this club because of a little girl who had cancer when she was a 13 month old. We learned about her from a story from her mom at Relay for Life at our school. Our grade level was second grade “no clowning around with cancer”. I dressed up like a clown! It made me feel kind of sappy because I wanted to help little kids like that tame cancer.

The money we raise can help really smart doctors do more research to find a cure for cancer.

Kyle and Andre gave me flowers! I dont know why they gave me flowers… I enjoyed “family movie night” because my friends get to come. Tonight Hannah, Alex, Ava, Kyle and Andre came over.

The flowers are REALLY pretty. Here is a picture of them! I am going to put them in my bedroom because they will look pretty in my bedroom!

Chloe and I are doing good! we are enjoying counting down for Easter. I want to play hunt for the easter basket…and i want you to come over…and i want a snow globe…and a few little toys.

my dad rocks because he takes me to work with him. He works at two story coffeehouse. I serve customers. In the winter there was a snow week and we got to go with Daddy to work at 2Story Coffeehouse. I even made up a song about it. It goes, “2story coffee house 2story coffeehouse! ROCKS! I’ll teach you how to serve-serve that tea! Sport those cookies! Flash that smile!!”

My dad is awesome also because he has the coolest dad in the universe. Papa is his name OR Jesse W. Curtis II. Daddy has the cutest wife in the whole entire empire. His wife is my mommy. Her name is Laurie Elizabeth Curtis aka Laurie Elizabeth Murphy (that used to be her last name when she was a kid).

My dad and I are going on a daddy daughter date with Hannah and her dad. My daddy is the number one snuggler in the world. It makes me feel like I am going to fall into a bucket that an angel is holding and is taking me up to Heaven! He is really good at dancing and roller skating. My daddy makes me feel like a swan. A swan is a beautiful bird and he makes me feel beautiful.

My favorite volunteers are Christina, Julia, Julie, Kristin, Janie, Erica, Nicki, and Kyle and Hudson and Claudia. Some of them are my small group leaders from UpStreet. UpStreet is a fun interactive place for kids to learn about Jesus at Athens Church. The rest of them are my Waumba Land volunteers. Waumba Land is a fun interactive place for kids to learn about Jesus too. UpStreet is different from Waumba Land because it has a whole street setting. There are bigger kids there than Waumba Land. AND I LOVE MY GRANDPARENTS JUST IN CASE YOUR READING THIS.

Hey,

have you guys heard of Revlon Dolls??? I have one!!!! Her name is Abby. When I was in Texas my grandma gave me Abby. She is beautiful! She has a blue polka dotted dress. She is special because she used to be my grandma’s doll! I think she 8 years old like me!

We had to bring her to the doll hospital because she had dust in her hair and her clothes needed washing. They told us that she would take about 4 weeks to get finished. I can’t wait to see her when I visit my grandma and grandpa again!

P.S. Did I mention that my grandma had her when she was a little girl?? She must be REALLY special!
